Tea Time Tuesday - Autumn Gold - Herbstgold

How nice, that you came for a tea. Do we want to make a little walk throught he woods before?

 Fungi are growing like bizarre future cities on mossy tree trunks.

Pilze wachsen wie skurile Zukunftsstädte auf bemoosten Baumstämmen.

At some places grow only pines. There the forest is dark.

An manchen Stellen wachsen nur Fichten, dort ist der Wald dunkel.

In the beech forest it is bright

Trough the golden leaves the sun shines onto the ground.

Im Buchenwald ist es hell. 

Durch die goldenden Blätter scheint die Sonne bis auf den Boden.

Now a cup of hot tea will warm you up. Sit in the chair. Some lemonjoice in the tea is very healthy in this time of year.

Jetzt wird dich ein heißer Tee aufwärmen.  Setz dich in den Sessel. Etwas Zitrone zum Tee ist in dieser Jahreszeit sehr gesund.

How do you like that? I decorated with autumn leaves and baked cookies in leaf shape to it. The tea set has a very modern shape and its brown glaze fits nicely for autumn.

Wie gefällt dir das? Ich habe mit Herbstlaub dekoriert und Kekse in Blattform dazu gebacken. Das Teegeschirr hat eine sehr moderne Form und die braune Glasur passt schön zum Herbst.

 And even to this modern tea set  fit my rose flatware nicely. 

Und sogar zu diesem modernen Geschirr passen meine Rosen-Bestecke doch gut.

I haven't found any translation for this nice poem.

So I tried an own translation for my English spoken friends:

Autumn Gold

As it was in the woods

today so inspiring for me.

Like made from red gold

looked the top of each tree.

Golden was the soil ,

and golden was the scent.

The falling leaves of gold,

as from heaven sent.

Among death and decay

their leaves golden robe

give the idea of resurrection

in this days a new hope.
