It is almost dark outside at 5 o'clock and so today we will use some beautiful black accessories for your tea table. Starting with this copper tablecloth with black velvet ornaments, which I bought in Portugal, but it is made in India. See the little tassel in the corner?

Thereon I place a wonderful laquered tray with inlays from Mother of Pearl and tiny brass ornaments. This was a gift from Hong Kong.
Darauf lege ich ein wunderbares Lack-Tablett mit Intarsien aus Perlmutt und kleinen Ornamenten aus Messing. Dies war ein Geschenk von Hong Kong.

I love your lacquered tray. I only started collecting teacups last summer after I bought some at estate auctions. I am partial to footed teacups like the one pictured because they are so unique.

Ja, und Dein schwarzer edler Tisch gefällt mir auch sehr gut. Richtig fürstlich. Allerdings bin ich ein ausgesprochener Kaffeefan, aber aus der chicen schwarzgoldenen Tasse schmeckt er besonders gut.
