Water Lilys / Seerosen

Welcome for todays Tea Time.

The waterlilys are blooming outside on the pond. Would be nice to have the tea there.

Willkommen zur Teestunde.

Die Seerosen blühen draußen im See. Wäre doch schön, dort Tee zu trinken.

The stamen of waterlilys remind me to sea monster with tentacles.

Die Staubbeutel der Seerosen erinnern mich an Meeresungeheuer mit Tentakeln.

But the petals look so clean and crispy.

Aber die Blütenblätter sehen so rein und knackig aus.

I am baking some puff pastry which I will serve with icecream.

Ich backe Blätterteigplätzchen, die ich mit Eiscreme servieren will.

Oh look, now it is raining. The waterlilys closed their blossoms and we have to drink our tea inside. 

Och, guckt mal. Jetzt regnet es. Die Seerosen haben die Blüten geschlossen und wir müssen unseren Tee drinnen trinken.

I made a waterlily from puff pastry, with peach ice cream inside and chopped peach as topping. 

Ich habe eine Seerose gemacht mit Blätterteigplätzchen, Pfirsicheis innen und gewürfelten Pfirsichen obendrauf.

And this cute silver sugar spoon is made in Hanau (and has no rose on it, Ha ha!). But look at the shell shaped bowl and the little dolphin in the handle. Remember all the shell shaped spoons in my last post:

Und dieser niedliche Zuckerlöffel wurde in Hanau hergestellt (und ist ganz ohne Rose, haha!). Aber schau mal auf die tolle muschelförmige Laffe und den süßen Delphin im Griff. Erinnert ihr euch an all die schönen muschelförmigen Löffel im letzten Post:
