Watteau: Tea Time in the Park / Teestunde im Park

Wikipedia says: "Jean-Antoine Watteau (* 10. Oktober 1684 in Valenciennes; † 18. Juli 1721 in Nogent-sur-Marne) was a French painter whose brief career spurred the revival of interest in colour and movement (in the tradition of Correggio and Rubens). ... Watteau is credited with inventing the genre of fêtes galantes: scenes of bucolic and idyllic charm, suffused with an air of theatricality. Aus Wikipedia: Jean-Antoine Watteau (* 10. Oktober 1684 in Valenciennes; † 18.

This painting of a gallant party is a copy of the original Watteau painting out of the  Palace Berlin-Charlottenburg. Since centuries they sit there in the park, play music and never had a tea. Can you see how they look yearning for the tea cups? I will serve those elegant party their first tea ever.

Look, how they are kidding. The lady in the blue dress hides her tea cup and the young man tries to get it. The standing couple look amused.

The yellow dressed lady holds her tea cup gracefully while the blue clothed man declaims a poem about tea. The musician looks if some tea is left for him. Only the dog is not interested to get tea.
