Zur Zeit ist die Hitze tagsüber unerträglich. Trotz Wassergaben lassen die Pflanzen die Blätter hängen.
At present, the heat is unbearable during the day. Despite watering the plants, the leaves droop.

Deshalb habe ich eine Erfrischung im Schatten für uns gedeckt.
Therefore I have set a table with refreshment in the shadow.

Es gibt einen aufgeschäumten Milchkaffee und zusätzlich Wasser. Ausreichend Wasser trinken ist bei der Hitze ganz wichtig. Und ich zeige euch ein paar erfrischende Kinderfotos von mir.
There is a frothed milk coffee and additionally water. Drinking enough water is very important in the heat. And I'll show you a few refreshing child photos of me.

ohh ich könnte nun ewig in deinem Kinderfotoalbum blättern.
Ich mag diese alten Fotos sehr.
Die Bademode von früher ;0) die hatte was.
Ich find die Fotos niedlich.
Da es sich nun so herrlich angekühlt hat ( gestern waren es tatsächliche 39 Gard ) werde ich mich gern an deinem schönen Platze niederlassen und verweilen.
Einige Tropfen sind heut Nachmittag gefallen, allerdings musste ich doch noch den Schlauch ausrollen :0( und die Hortensien , Rosen ... leiden sehr unter dieser Hitze.

Das alte Bild ist totalsüss mit deine Mama. Du hattest also eine ältere Schwester so zu sehen. Die habe ich mir immer gewünscht aber meine ist ja 'still born' und ich bekam ihren Nahmen.
Du schriebst das unsere Schwägerin bestimmt verstehen würde das wir nicht zur Beerdigung kommen können. Ich hatte aber vermeldet das sie im April 2010 schon verstorben ist. Pass away...
Traurig aber es geht nicht anders.

They remind me of my own childhood photos by the sea, exactly at the same seaside resort where I'm staying right now - Figueira da Foz, about 50 km from my home.
You're right, at this time of year only a nice shade or the sea breeze will make us comfortable...

My garden were doing the same DROOPS, but we are having more fall like conditions now and they gardens seem happier. Due to the fact I was away SO LONG from them, it looks like a forest out there. I am just going to wait it out and pull the weeds when I cut it all back late fall...
