Endlich haben wir wieder Sonnenschein. Zeit für Erdbeerkuchen im Garten!
Eventual we have sunshine in the garden. Time for strawberry cake in the garden.

Um uns herum summt und brummt es. Die ersten Rosen beginnen zu blühen.
Around us bees are humming and buzzing. The first roses start to bloom.

Ich habe uns einen Pfeffermintee mit getrockneten Rosenknospen aufgebrüht. Dazu gibt es den ersten Erdbeerkuchen.

I brewed us a Peppermint-Tea with dried rose buds. To that we will have the first strawberry cake of the year.

Und ich zeige dir, was ich gerade handarbeite. Ich mache Duftkissen und Duft-Potpourris aus getrockeneten Blüten und Kräutern.

And I'll show you what I am crafting. I make scented sachets and potpourri of dried flowers and herbs.

Die Rosenblütenblätter stammen von meinen eigenen Rosa damascena. Schade, dass du es nicht riechen kannst. Der Rosenduft ist umwerfend.
The rose petals are from my own Rosa damascena. Too bad you can not smell it. The rose scent is amazing.

die gemütliche Teestunde im
Sonnenschein kann ich nachvollziehen.
Wir haben auch Sonnenschein.
Sonnige Grüße

Your garden setting is lovely! I posted Tea In The Garden yesterday so please come link (I was early). Those dishes look very similar to the Lefton ones I had posted last year (which I ended up taking to my store) What a pretty setting and the potpourri is lovely!
Zum draußen sitzen reicht es bei uns ja leider derzeit nicht, aber es hat wenigstens aufgehört zu regnen. Nun kann es nur noch besser werden.
Viele Grüße in den Nachmittag von Kerstin.
Your rose must be smelling really nice. I dried rose once before and the dried rose kept its scent for years. I should do that again...:-)
Lovely table setting with your roses and I loved your potpourri sachets. Made by you and filled with your lovely and fragrant Rosa Damascena...
Hugs to you,
Mariette
our son brought back as a souvenir from NY "tea flowers"
and which are of course the most beautiful in a glass teapot ..
Your tea table is a beauty with that exquisite pink and gold china.
Sunshine is a great ally to enjoy tea outdoors. Everything becomes even more beautiful!
And you reminded me it's time to dry rose petals and some lavender for pot-pourri. Yours looks great!I wish I could smell it from here :)
Hugs
Liebe Grüsse

Yay! Time for spring strawberries! I love the first taste of fresh picked berries. What a treat. Your outdoor tea table looks gorgeous with that china pattern. I have just one tea cup set of the same. It is such a romantic set! Your dessert looks very tasty.
Enjoy your springtime berry tea.
Hugs,
Terri
Tea and cake for two, I'ld love to join you. It doesn't surprise me that you are crafting with the fragrant petals from your garden.

What a beautiful tea you shared with us today! Your china is gorgeous and your strawberry cake looks so yummy! I made potpourri sachets for favors at a tea I gave a few years ago. They do smell so heavenly!
Hugs..Nancy
Those teacups ands plates are so very pretty! I bet that strawberry is as delicious as it is picture perfect.
Wish I could smell your roses too. I am smelling my late lilac and peonies in my garden at the moment.
