Tea Time Tuesday - Dragon Tea - Drachentee

Did I alredy told you, my husband loves dragons? That's why he is married with me. LOL

Now seriously, I found a dragon cookie cutter and made for his fun dragon shortbread.

Habe ich euch schon erzählt, dass mein Mann Drachen liebt? Deshalb ist er ja mit mir verheiratet. LOL

Jetzt mal ernsthaft, ich habe eine  Drachen-Ausstechform gefunden und für seinen Spaß Drachenplätzchen gebacken.

And those will be served with silver dragon cookie tongs. This small sugar- or cookie tongs are certainly made in Italy.

Und die werden natürlich mit einer silbernen Drachen-Plätzchenzange serviert. Diese kleine Zucker- oder Gebäckzange ist sicherlich aus Italien.

I was enthralled as I found two trios of a special china: Moriage Dragonware China. The design is really outstanding, somebody told me it was Japanese KUTANI dragonware (more informations: http://gotheborg.com/marks/kutani.shtml).  I don't know much about it, but if you look at google you will find lots of nice designs.

Ich war begeistert als ich zwei Gedecke von einem sehr speziellen Geschirr fand: Moriage (=Schlickerdekor) Dragonware China (=Porzellan).  Jemand erzählte mir, es sei japanische KUTANI Drachengeschirr (mehr Informationen hier:http://gotheborg.com/marks/kutani.shtml . Ich weiß nicht viel darüber, aber wenn man mit google danach sucht, findet man massenhaft hübsche Designs.

The cups show in the bottom a nice litophane Geisha-sign.

Die Tassen zeigen im Boden eine hübsche Lithophanie-Geisha-Marke.

While the cups ahve no marks, the saucer and the plates are marked as shown.

Während die Tassen keine Marken haben, sind die Untertassen und Teller wie gezeigt markiert.

The centerpiece makes a real fire breathing dragon. Don't be afraid, I caged him into a glass dome to make sure he cannot hurt you.

Oh, he looks quite friendly. I guess, he has already spied the cookies.

Den Tischschmuck macht ein richtig feuerspuckender Drache. Keine Angst, ich habe ihn in diesen Glasdom gesperrt, damit er euch nichts tun kann. 

Oh. er guckt ganz freundlich. Ich denke, er hat schon die Kekse entdeckt.
