As you all know, they will marry on April 29, 2011.
We start with a rose petal wine, this is perfect for a romantic wedding.

Wir tun so, als wäre dies ein High Tea zu Ehren des königlichen Paars
Kate und William.
Wie ihr alle wisst, werden sie am 29.4.2011 heiraten.
Wir beginnen mit einem Rosenblütenwein, das ist genau das Richtige für eine romantische Hochzeit.

Let's pretend, William would gift Kate a neclace with a huge ruby heart (if this lovely Swarovski-heart would be truly a ruby, it would have remarkable 90 carat)
Lasst uns spielen, William würde Kate eine Kette schenken mit einem riesigen Rubinherz (wenn dieses hübsche Swarovski-Herz wirklich ein Rubin wäre, hätte es bemerkenswerte 90 Karat).

This is the table. The center piece was the Christmas gift of my sweet husband.

I adorned the center piece with white paper flowers. They are the same ones which are used for the wedding door decor. If you haven't seen the sunday post, you find it HERE and there is also a link to the Tutorial of paper flower making.

Those little candle bouquets were left from the communion of my kids, years ago. I showed them in this post and today I just added some paper flowers.
Diese kleinen Kerzengestecke waren übrig von der Kommunion meiner Kinder vor vielen Jahren. Ich habe sie schon einmal HIER gezeigt und jetzt nur noch mit Papierblumen geschmückt.

Not to pretend, they are truly there!

Nicht zum Spiel, die sind wirklich da!

Easy to make, just spread on a tortilla cream cheese, then put a thin layer of lox = smoked salmon on it, then wrap them and roll into clingfilm for half an our. Then unwrap from clingfilm and cut the roll into slices. Put in the middle a little spot Washabi. Delicious!
Did you noticed this fantastic rose fork. It is a truly beautiful one, made from J. L. Schlingloff, Hanau.
Einfach zu machen: auf einen Tortillafladen Frischkäse streichen, darauf eine Scheibe Räucherlachs, dann zusammenrollen und in Frischhaltfolie für eine halbe Stunde einrollen. Danach auspacken und in Scheiben schneiden. Auf die Mitte einen Tupfer Washabi geben. Köstlich!

If it is true that you are so occupied with your writing; how come you can choreograph such a royal high tea?! This is marvelous. The entire entourage... unbelievably well done. Guess that 'Kiss me Kate' will linger at your table and love the ruby heart. The bottle with label for Rose blossom wine is the epitome of Romance. Well, this year's birthday for Pieter will be a special one with this royal couple making their wedding vows.

stell dir vor ich hatte ein Weilchen bis ich begriff, wer Kate und Willim schon wieder ist!! Aber Kompliment es sieht fantastisch aus!!! Ich habe mich kurz in Kates Rolle gezaubert und mich diskret auf die Röllchen gestürzt, am Wein genippt und das Gewicht des Rubinherzens gefûhlt!!! War schön, aber nun steige ich wieder in meine Schafsbäuerinnen-Kluft und packe meinen Tag ohne komplizierte Konventionen voll an♥♥♥

Ich könnte ir vorstellen Kate und William hätte es auch bei Dir gefallen , gerade im kleinen Kreis den sie ja wohl so gut wie nie haben. Ich glaube ich brauch mal ne Prise Wasabi damit ich in die Puschen komme mit hat die Frühjahrsmüdigkeit gepackt.

das ist so ein hübscher und phantasievoller Post - ich bin schwer beeindruckt. Rosenblütenwein - da zergeht mir ja schon das Wort auf der Zunge! Und was sehe ich, Du hast auch so eine hübsche Porzellanuhr - ich mag die so sehr.
Ja, daß die Amerikaner gerne Porzellandesigns mischen, habe ich schon auf dieser Blogparty und bei dem Blog von Aiken House and Gardens gesehen - letztere hat Unmengen wunderschönes Blümchenporzellan. Und Du hast recht, das Rösler ist in der Grundfarbe eigentlich nicht weiß (reinweiß gab es zu dieser Zeit auch gar nicht), sondern eher ein dunkleres Elfenbein mit Zartblau, wobei das Blau - je nachdem ob es sich um ein Objekt aus den ersten oder letzten Produktionsjahren handelt - auch differieren kann. Die 3 Kuchenteller stammen auch aus verschiedenen Herstellungsjahren und sind unterschiedlich im Design. Ein paar Kuchenteller brauche ich noch und die passende Zuckerdose und dann dazu cremefarbene Ergänzungsteile - schööön! Danke für diese tolle Idee!

Ohhh my...what a beautiful tea table you have set in honor of Prince William and Cate's soon to be marriage!!! It really is lovely! Ohh...and I have to tell you that as soon as I seen your fabulous centerpiece...it just took my breath away! What a sweet gift from your husband! He has such style and very good taste, my friend! I love anything with sweet birds on it and this piece is gorgeous!!! I love how you added the wedding rings to the branches...soooo pretty! And...I loved all of the beautiful white roses that you made! I noticed (after enlarging all of your photos) that you also glittered the edges of the paper roses! They turned out beautifully...what a creative and talented lady you are! I love the soft aqua and cream colored table linens...very beautiful! Your china is also very beautiful! You certainly have set a tea proper for the royals!!! Thank you so much for sharing it with us today...I sooo enjoyed it!

....Dein Hochzeitstisch sieht zauberhaft aus, und Dank Deiner schönen Beschreibung zu den einzelnen Fotos hatte ich das Gefühl als Gast dabei sein zu dürfen. Kate und William wären sicherlich genauso begeistert wie ich .... !

I love your let's pretend party. It was so much fun to use my imagination... I could just see the "love birds" being enthralled by your beautiful bird centerpiece. And Kate was totally surpirsed and thrilled by her new jewerly. The happy couple drank the rose petal wine and ate the delicate treats while sitting at your beautiful table! When they left they were even more in love than before!!!!
